On Wednesday October 25th, we will join the hundreds of thousands of children across America along with educators, parents, local business leaders and the community to rally in support of the afterschool programs that keep kids safe, inspire academic achievement and help develop positive citizens in our community. Lights On Afterschool is a nationwide event that launched 18 years ago and is sponsored by the Afterschool Alliance.

Along with our partners at the Boys and Girls Club, we invite everyone to join us at the rally. We will have a short program beginning at 5 that will involve students from RDES and other campuses in the district. There will be a Halloween Costume contest, face painting, booths, free hot dogs and much more. We hope that you can join us!
